God Will Not Remain Silent On Your Situation
WHAT WE HAVE &
NEED TO HOLD ONTO – UNDERSTANDING WHO WE LIVE IN
Basic Summary regarding Ephesians Chapter 1 is in
Philemon:
Philemon 1:4-6
I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my
prayers, hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast
toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; that
the communication [sharing & fellowshipping] of thy faith may become
effectual [active] by the acknowledging [precise & correct knowledge] of
every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
When we share our walk of faith that is in the Lord, we begin to see
the Lord’s work in the lives of everyone & the unique way He works in all
our lives. And when we begin to discard the things that aren’t of the Lord and
become aware of what is correctly Him, we begin to see Christ living in &
through us. We begin to see & experience all that is Good and available to
us, in us, which is in Christ Jesus. We have Christ Jesus & all His Faith
in us to use. We fully & completely have His ability in us. We don’t need
to ask or seek it, WE HAVE IT ALREADY! This is exciting to know we don’t have
to try to get anything, we already have it!
EPHESIANS
Ephesians 1:1-12
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To
the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace
is to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have Grace & peace from both our Father & Christ Jesus
towards us. He is not upset or angry with us – this is what the angels
proclaimed to the shepherds in the field at Christ’s birth. All that Christ did
brought that peace & grace to us.
Blessed be the
God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
How many Spiritual blessings do we all have?
Where do they reside…in heavenly places in Christ. Do we as believers
have Christ living in us? So where do all thse Spiritual blessings reside? In
us! We don’t need to pray to heaven to receive or get them to us. They are in
us now, waiting to be used. His Gifts reside in us all, regardless of who you
are in Him. His blessings do not come & go. Sin or wrongdoing does not take
away these blessings.
He never leaves us nor forsakes us.
just as He chose us in Him
before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame
before Him in love,
Holy & Blameless. Is this something we need to strive for out of
obligation or our own ability? NOOOO! We are already made Holy. Christ made
this for us. His Holiness He gave / gifted to us. Christ has gifted his
Righteousness to every human on this earth. Everyone. And when we believe on
Him, we are made Holy. His Holy. There is only one type of Holy, and we all
have it: Christ’s Holiness—not of the Law, but of the Faith of Jesus Christ. We
can never achieve His holiness out of our own ability…the Law proved that. The
Law proved we were & are incapable of that. The Law is meant to bring you
to an end of your own trying & cry out, I can’t do this! I need a Saviour!
That’s when Christ says, “Here I Am”.
having predestined us to
adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of
His will, to the praise of the glory of His
grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
From before the foundation of the world, He wanted us to be His
children. To be in relationship with Him. Even after Adam & Eve sinned, the
Father still came to them to be their Father. But they hid from Him. God our
Father never has hidden Himself from us. And it is His GOOD pleasure to want us
to be in close, intimate, relationship with Him.
Not many of us have or had a Father like that.
But by God’s Grace, through the Faith of Jesus Christ, we have been
made acceptable to Himself. Not by our merit or want, but by His. He did this
all for us. We are acceptable to Him—we have no need to fear Him or hide from
him. He cannot be angry with us if He has already made us acceptable in His
eyes. We may not see ourselves as acceptable. But this is why we need to renew
our thinking to what He has done for us.
How did He make us acceptable? Through His Son.
In Him we have redemption
through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His
grace which He made to abound toward us in all
wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the
mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in
Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of
the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which
are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.
What is the mystery of His Will? Christ Jesus! When we look back at the
Old Testament, in those passages, we look for & see Prophecy pointing to a
Saviour: Christ Jesus. And now, He revealed Himself to us. We now have that
Saviour. We now have what He promised from the beginning of time. We live this
now.
We have been joined together with Him, unified. Made to sit with Him.
Made to reign with Him now on this earth—not just in the future Heaven. Now.
In Him also we have obtained an
inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all
things according to the counsel of His will, that
we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
In Him you also trusted, after
you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having
believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is
the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased
possession, to the praise of His glory.
He has given us His inheritance. He is the Truth which is believed upon
when heard. The Holy Spirit testifying to that in your heart. Speaking to you
now that Christ is the Truth towards salvation. And when we believe, our spirit
is made Holy & sealed by the Holy Spirit, never to be tarnished again. We
can’t lose our holiness. We can’t lose our right-standing with the Father. We
can’t lose His blessings upon us. We are sealed, held by His hand.
Therefore I also, after I heard
of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do
not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that
the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the
spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
The “spirit” used here is thinking – thoughts. We must renew ourselves
in the spirit of our mind to what He has done for us. All He has already
accomplished for us. All that we have already been given. “It is finished” He
said. He has done & completed FOR US what we need to be overcomers. To be
as Him. To Live as Him.
the eyes of your
understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His
calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
His inheritance in us – this is all
about His power, not ours.
His ability. His Faith.
and what is the
exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the
working of His mighty power which He
worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at
His right hand in the heavenly places, far
above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is
named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
He has seated Himself above all & given
us – gifted / blessed us – that same
authority
And He put all things under
His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to
the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who
fills all in all.
We are that fullness here on earth – His Body to do all He did &
more. We can reach more places. We have Him in us to reach all who need. He
uses us who hear & obey to come to your aide. Who are you the aide for? Who
is the aide for you?
When His Faith gets tested in our lives, what helps us stand firm under
that trial is knowing the tools, weapons, and ability we already have. Let’s
build up that confidence in who we have already been made into. Let’s let go of
the shame & the guilt of our own wrongdoing—thinking that my sins upset God
the Father that He would take away Himself or His blessings from us.
If I think I lose His power & authority in my life when I sin, I
negate the complete & total work that Jesus did for me. Let’s not deny what
He did for me…because when we do, we are denying: forgiveness in our life;
health; prosperity; ability to do all thongs through Christ who strengthens me;
authority over the devil & demons; the breaking of childhood / family
curses; Spiritual Gifts; and so much more. And when we think we lost something
of His, we try & re-create it out of our own ability. We no longer then
live under His Grace, but now our own works. And this can never compare to what
He did & still does in our life.
So how does this relate to “God Will Not Remain Silent on your
Situation”?
The Lord wants you to look & see what you already have been given.
You may be looking for something you already have. He hasn’t remained silent;
He is speaking to you now. You ARE “more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus”!
